Lamb Shares

LAMB SHARES AVAILABLE

Have you ever tasted grass-fed, grass-finished lamb raised without antibiotics or hormones?

Would you like to try this succulent mild-tasting meat?

Half and whole shares are available now for our lambs, born and raised on our small family farm in Gilbert, AZ.

We charge $9.75 per pound of hanging weight, also known as dressed weight. Hanging or dressed weight means removing the inedible parts of the lamb like the hide, feet, head, some of the bones and most of the innards.

Our lambs average 30-40 pounds per half share (lamb), making the average cost per half share approximately $350 โ€“ $ 400.

You will โ€œyieldโ€ 55% to 75% of the hanging weight depending on a number of factors including:

  • Bone-in vs. boneless cuts โ€“ This will dramatically affect yield; the more boneless cuts that are made, the lower the yield.
  • The amount of fat remaining on the meat cuts โ€“ The yield will vary based on how much surface fat the cutter leaves on the cuts.

We require a $100 non-refundable deposit on your half share or whole animal purchase.

Your half share or whole animal purchase will be available for pick up in December/January, packaged for you freezer.
